Hey Folks:

Looking to get a new shotgun for skeet shootinga at the local club. I love my Grandfathers Citori, but I just saw a Smith & Wesson Elite Silver O/U. Looks like a beautiful gun, and has what is called an heirloom warranty. Just wondering if any of you know anything aout these? I'm in the market for a nice gun with a screw in choke system for something that looks like an older style gun.

I was also looking at the Marlin LC Smith

Thanks Guys

most skeet shooters prefer an open cylinder choke for the disipline. if the smith is choked full and modifed or what ever combination it came with from the factory you may want to look at firearms with choke tube options. you can have a competent gun smith put the system in your smith but were it mine i would not even consider it.

Personally I think neither of these are in the same class as a Citori. If you decide on the Marlin- LC Smith let me know and I'll put one up for auction for around 7 bills.
