I paid just over $700 for one in .25/06 on the auction side. That was about a year and a half ago and that included shipping.

cpermd: Not a great way to welcome a new guy!

Depends on many factors. Condition does it have a scope...
    $250.00 to 600.

    Ambrose

Maybe a newbey should use search a bit.

$39 seems fair for an ignorant seller.

    kowens,

Welcome to the forums here on Gunbroker.

It would be nice to see some pictures of the rifle in question, as then we could judge the condition, and exact model, and any extra's or deletions.

There are instructions in a sticky posting near the top of the "EXPERT'S" forum that describe how to post photo's. You must use a URL like photobucket to post pictures tot he forum.

The value could range from $250.00 for a used up one, to 600.00+ for one that is NIB.

Please, pay no mind to CPERMD...he was new once too, but he has not changed much.

    Best

    EDIT 1:

THe BBR was made in Japan by Miroku from 1978 to 1986. The Blue Book shows top price as $525.00 USD for a minty NIB specimen. Check the auction side for auctions that have ended and sold for your best ruler.

Weren't the BBRs Belgian made ? I should think it would be worth more than a Jap A Bolt in like condition . Is it a Safari Grade ? They are nice guns , but a little heavy for my tastes ! Just ignore that $39 dude , there's a bully on every playground . Welcome to the GB forums , the info dispensed here needs sifting before use !

My 1981 BBR is a Jap gun and weighs a pound and a quarter more than the .270 A-bolt sitting next to it. So they're made in Japan, they're heavy and tsr1965 must have the time frame right.
