Have a Savage 12bvss300wsm, s/s fluted 26"barrel, s/s action, brown laminated factory stock, limbsaver recoil pad. Gun purchased in late july. Has weaver rings and bases. Also has the new savage accutrigger. Am also looking to include a set of redding dies(n/s, f/l, and seating die set). And 50 pieces of once fired winchester nickel brass and 50 165grain swift scirocco bullets. Am curious to find a fair asking price for all the above.

Everyone has a photographic memory. Only some have film.

That's the beauty of this Gunbroker auction site. You don't HAVE to figure out a fair asking price; the market determines the value for you.

List your package for $100, with no reserve. It's sure to sell, & the amount that you get will be a fair price.

Is $100 too low for you? Are you thinking, "I wouldn't sell it for THAT much!"? If so, then you're not being candid with us, and you obviously have a figure in mind that YOU think is fair, and you don't need our help.

DO NOT LIST IT AT $100 WITH NO RESERVE!!!! set your reserve at the lowest price you would take or set the starting bid with you lowest price you would take with no reserve.. wow this site is killing me today! tom

Second that toolman. I only say forget the reserve and start your auction at a price you would be happy with. THis might not really be what you want, but what you will take as your minimum. Unless you like to gamble, then start at one cent. Why bother with $100.00 we all know that the bid will go well over both starting prices.

Already know how to play the game on here. But I never said I was considering auctioning the rifle or any of the other equipment. Was just curious to know what some of you thought the rifle and accessories would be worth. Am aware that ther value dropped the day I fired the first shot. Am planning on trading or at least trying to at a gunshow this weekend. Was just trying to keep from getting screwed. Have an idea of what its worth but wanted some other opinions.

I would say the gun/rings/recoil pad is probably worth about $500 to $540.00 which is the price of a new one listed, some actualy cheaper. I am not sure about the extras, maybe 60% of the retail. The thing to remember is that if you want your money back it will be tough. If you take a loss it should be easier to sell. Good luck.
