Sorry for the confusion,I had posted an earlier question about puting a 50 barrel on a rolling block with a bad barrel then a breech plug that would use a 25 or 32 primered case tp set it off. This seems like a good ignition system already in use on some rifles. And to why? Iam a cowboy that likes old guns. To carry one of those new inlines hunting elk is just a little pilgrim looking. catosilvaje,

The quick answer to your question: YES, WE know bunches of competent
    'smiths.

It's not whether they can, but will they?

I see no sane reason anyone would canablize a servicable rolling block to make a muzzle loader. What you ask is like asking an auto mechanic to take a CLASSIC Corvette & make a tractor.

Sell your rolling block & you will be able to buy several good muzzle loaders.

If I have missed the point of your original post, I apologize, my crystal ball is a little cloudy today! (The name of this forum is "ask the experts" not "see if they can guess!
