Is there any simple to make this gun hold open after last shot?

Factory 10-22's do not have a "last round bolt hold open". They do have a way to lock the open by hand though.

I do remember seeing a company that was making a part that you install in the trigger group to make that happen. I am not sure who it was or what they cost though.

There are several aftermarket last round hold open swap out parts available, check E-bay or GB auction side. I think I saw one that also had a modified mag catch and you changed out both parts, I think they usually go for less than 20 bucks.

I think Brownells sells an aftermarket kit to hold the bolt open (at last shot also, no more dry-firing). But you have to buy special mags.

I wouldn't advise getting the last shot hold open or the magazine that you have to use with it. Not as reliable as the factory mags and there is actually no damage done by dry firing.

The guys on Rimfirecentral.com and AR15.com in the 22 section rave about how these don't work worth a hoot. YMMV
