Bauer .25 auto measurement

Can someone that has a Bauer .25 measure and tell me exectly how "thick" the gun is at the grips portion of the frame. The distance from one side of the steel frame at one grip to the other? The grips don't have to be off, just the distance between both sides of the frame that the grips fit up against. It would take too long to explain why I need this but I sure would appreciate someone who has this weapon to give me a good, pretty exact size! Thanks.

Whatever you do, DON'T remove the grips from your Bauer.

The Baby Browning is 12mm (.472") with grips removed.

The grips retain several spring-loaded small parts. Even if you don't lose the parts, the odds are good you will be unable to re-assemble the gun.

The grips secure the trigger transfer bar-which secures the trigger.
As long as you are careful, it won't be a problem. Unless you try to remove the transfer bar-it should stay in place. If it comes out, just remember to install the rear first, and then the trigger side.
