I am looking for information on a model 33 long rifle, 22 cal bolt action. it says pat. pending on it. serl#1906--- i do not know if this is the serial # or not. I am interested in when it was mfg. and possible value. I would rate the condition as good to very good. Thank You, MLW on the lake[:)]

    Hello Ketchum,

    Winchester never made a "Model 33". So in that light, please answer the following;

    1. Is it a single shot or a repeater?
    2. If a repeater, does it have a removable magazine, or is it tube fed?
    3. Barrel length?
    4. Where on the rifle is the serial number located?
    5. Is it a take down?

    If you can post a few pictures of it, that would help us to identify it.

    My bet is that your rifle is a Remington Model 33. Check out this link and see if it looks familar to you - http://www.remington.com/library/history/firearm_models/rimfire/model_33.asp

    The Remingtom Model 33 is a $50 - $250 rifle depending upon the graded condition. Any offer you get in that range would be reasonable.
