Remington targetmaster

I just inherited a Model 41 which sadly, is in pretty rough shape with rust on about 20% of the barrell. Are replacement barrells available or should I take it to a gunsmith to re-blue? Any advise will be greatly appreciated.

I was searching the auction side for a Remington Targetmaster model 510 to find an approximate value, and came up with nothing out of 39 pages of Remington bolt-action rifles. It's just a single shot bolt action in decent average shape, but I know nothing else about it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.....BT

My father asked me to find him a stock for an old remington .22 bolt action he has. It is a single shot and sets the safety every time you stroke the action. I don't know if it is a model 510 or a 41 all ge told me was target master. Could anyone here help me get the right stock for him?

It sounds like you have the 510. Keep an eye on e-bay, they're some nice ones come thru there.
