SAKO Firing Pin Recall

I have a SAKO M995 S/N 227906R in .300WM. The recall below calls for S/Ns 202238 to 275255 and 973815 to 998594. After 3 e-mails and a phone message to their recall center, they finally returned my call and left me a message - "it is not affected by the recall".

Can someone please explain? Is the R suffix has something to do with it? Thank you in advance for your support and understanding.

the suffix "r" is probably when the correction was made

The R could stand for "REWORKED" before or after it left the factory.
