Years ago I acquired a West German made .357 Magnum 6-shot pistol made by H. Schmidt OSTHEIM/RHOEN - Model# 121S. Can anyone tell me about how old it is; where can I find information about it; and what is its value?

When I bought it (from an individual), it came with a "cowboy/western" style side holster with belt and leather ties to strap the holster to your leg. It has a "hair trigger". It's in great condition.

Schmidt was active in the post W W II era. Circa 1950's -1970's? Your revolver will have West German proof-marks that are dated. Give us all the markings, that are on it.

All of Schmidt's handguns were inexpensive, mediocre quality, utility guns. They didn't sell for big bucks when new, and aren't worth a lot now.
