STITH MOUNT

I have a set of Stith mounts that came off a 1948 Model 70. I believe these were installed on the rifle in 1952. Also have mounting screws and the scope rings that originally held a scope with a 22mm tube.
The rear sight has a flip up peep sight on it. Any estimate on the value?

I JUST AQUIRED A LYMAN ALASKAN SCOPE WITH A STITH MOUNT FOR A SAVAGE 99. I WANT TO REMOVE THE MOUNT FROM THE SCOPE, BUT IT DOES NOT SPLIT. IT APPEARS YOU NEED TO REMOVE THE SCOPE END OR ADJUSTMENT BLOCKS TO REMOVE THE BASE AND RING? ANY HELP?

    You're correct.
Do it on a very dry day so as not to get much humidity in the scope.
The forward ring comes right off. If removing the eyepiece bothers you, you can spread the rear ring apart and carefully destroy it.
