Steel Buttplate For Norinco 97 Trenchguns???

Is there a steel buttplate that will fit the Norinco 97 Trenchgun; as I believe the actual Winchester 97 Trenchgun steel buttplate is different and may not fit, but not positive on this, anyone know about this or where to get them?

    Yes, you should check this out. I seem to recall the Winchester Model 1897 trenchgun stock is different from the commercial stocks. Therefore, it MAY require a different size and style of buttplate.

    If you find that the standard buttplate is also standard for the trench gun, Numrich Arms (see BHAVIN's post) sells a cast-steel reproduction of the Winchester steel buttplate with the pointed round-over extension for the standard Model 1897. It's about $30 and is of good quality.
