M1A Value ?

What would be a value of an M1a from the 80's , std,walnut model with all USGI parts ( exept for the stock and reciever). The gun is in the box and 99% condition)?

If you are talking about a Springfield Armory Inc rifle, I would think $1,500.

My understanding is that M1A ( SAI) that are made with all or most USGI parts are MUCH more desireable. Still true?

Ok. Soo USGI M1A's really are not worth any more than the ones made from commercial parts?

Even good condition used USGI ones are worth more than new ones with commercial parts.

I question these answers. I have a "new" M1A "Loaded" model that will shoot one ragged hole at 100 Yards. That is with the iron sights, not a scope. If you can do better than that with GI parts I would love to see you do it.
