Older Llama .45 ACP

Hello Gents. I have a reciever for an older style Llama 1911 .45 acp. I am having a heck of a time finding a slide, that is decently priced. Can a 9mm slide and barrel be installed without any reworking? They seem to be the same all around? I am just wondering if I could go a different route with this frame. I would assume even the 9mm mags are single stack, so I would think it is possible.
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

Some time back, I found a parts kit for my .45 Llama on the auction side. It was all there except for the frame (receiver). I got lucky and the slide matched up well, but don't know if they all would.

I would be surprised if a 9mm slide or magazine would fit a .45 frame without extensive work, if even then. I would continue looking for the proper slide and other parts. Parts kits come up every now and then. Best of luck!

Thank you for your time and response. I usually wouldn't think it was possible to do what i am asking, but since I see alot of conversion kits, and hear people switching over to different calibers, i thought maybe i would have another route if i couldn't find a slide. I am just hesitant to pay too much for a slide on the auction sights, as i know llama's are not desirable to most shooter's and have no real value. Of course, I like to keep what I have, but I have to think also if I ever am going to have to re-sell what I have, also.
    Thanks again

Later LLama copies can pretty much use 1911 parts including barrels and magazines. They also copied the 1911A1 grip safety and hammer spring housing. There's a reasonable chance more parts will fit.
My earlier one doesn't. It uses a different arrangement of firing mechanism with an external disconnector on the right side and the trigger pivots on a pin but it will take the 1911 barrel, bushing, slide spring and guide.
I bought a ROTO 9mm barrel on the net for $44 that fits the 45 bushing.
If your frame is notched in front for a flush magazine, the Colt copies will work.
My advice is to borrow an upper from a 1911 and if it works, buy a cheapo one. It should be easier to find a cheap 45 upper.
