Remington 40-XB Value

Hi;

I have a Remington 40-XB rifle in .308 and am wondering about it's value because I'm thinking about selling it.

It's the older model with the blue receiver and the stainless barrel. It is a repeater and it has a wood stock. The bore looks very good.

FWIW my 40X 7.62 repeater cost me $600.00 about 4 years ago, just bought a 30.06 single shot with 24X Leupold for $999.00. The 7.62 has a blued barrel, the 30.06 is stainless. Wood stock on each and of the "like new" condition.

The Blue Book shows different prices for the 40-X and the 40-XB Range Master which is what I have. The 40-XB prices are significantly higher than the 40-X prices.

There is a wood stocked blued/stainless barrel 7mm Mag on the auction side, used in great condition in the $1295.00 range.
