Ballistic Plex Reticle or fine Plex

I really like the Burris Fullfield 2 the question is Ballistic Plex Reticle or fine plex better for prairie dogs. I thaught the fine plex would be good for long shots because the cross hairs would not cover the prairie dogs and make it hard to see and shoot. So the question is which one would you pick, the reason I ask is that allot of you hunters been there and done that. Thanks for you time, oh by the way the one I'm looking at is the Burris Fullfield II Scope 4.5-14x42mm I was thinking this would be the way to go.

I have the Burris Sig select 4-16X44 with the Ballistic Plex reticle and have been very happy with it. I have not shot any prairie dogs with it, but I do shoot out to 500 yds and have not had any issues with the reticle covering my targets.
Otherwise get a MilDot scope and learn to use it.
Those boogers are TINY past 300 yards
