Hi guys, just wondering what model this S&W .22 is, as the model is not marked on the gun. It has a 4-screw frame, diamond grips with 2 screws, adj. rear sights, 6 shot cylinder, 5" pinned bbl, the serial is on the front strap of the grip frame #4279xx, screw in front of trigger gaurd(maybe 5-screw??), patent dates on top of bbl. Sorry the pics are kind of grainy, but any help on the model would be great. Thanks in advance!![;)]

Try GOOGLEing, "Smith & Wesson Bekart Model", and see what you come up with.
I dug up my copy of SCSW, the proper way to spell the name of the first dealer to order this .22 target revolver, is Bekeart. The picture in SCSW shows a Bekeart type revolver with a different appearing grip then yours. Your grip may or may not be factory original?
Only the first production run ordered by Phil Bekeart of San Francisco are properly known as the Bekeart Model. Is there a number on the bottom of the grip?
There are a lot of fine little collectors' minutae over the little guns that I don't know or care much about... but you have a fine revolver.
