Brownimg .25 pistol safety lever

Left grip on my Browning .25 pistol broke while shooting. At the same time the safety-lever fell to the ground. Pin which lever pivots on stayed in place. That tells me one of two things,#1)the grip holds the safety-lever in place and a new grip will solve this or,#2)not only do I need a new set of grips, but the safety lever needs work also. Does anyone have any answers to this, and does anyone know where I can find a set of factory grips? I have checked the Auction forum for grips, had no luck. DOM 1966 serial #337939. Thanks

You also need a new safety. It's not supposed to come apart from the pin.
so if i can find a new factory safety, what are the chances that is a drop-in part? and do you know of a good gunsmith in N E Tenn.

The safety should be a drop-in part.
