Walther 380 ppks magazine capacity

A Walther 380 ppks magazine specs say it holds 6 rounds but it holds 7 rounds. Are you only supposed to put 6 rounds in the mag , or what??

Both factory and aftermarket 7 round mags for the PPK-S certainly do exist. Perhaps you have one:

In general, *sometimes* you can get away with cramming an extra round into a magazine, though most often an extra round either won't fit at all, or if it does, scrunches in there so tightly the gun won't reliably feed it.

The test is empirical. If you have no problem loading up seven rounds then cycling them by hand through the gun and by firing them, you should be good to go.

The Walther PP & PPK/s hold 7 rounds in 380 acp. The PPK only holds six.
