Remington Mod 8 32 rem !!

I have a Remington mod 8 300 sav. that has a flat Remington UMC butt plate on it.It was moditied way back when to fit one.It has a liitle piece of wood dowed in place at the bottom of the stock.What I need is another butt plate like that one.I need a Remington UMC butt plate.Black plastic.Any idea where I might find one?

I have a 300 sav. and a 32 rem. in a Mod 8. Yes they are Mod 8's.I think the markings on the mod 8 300 sav. make it a factory rebarrel.The stocks have been professionally modified to fit the Rem UMC butt plate.quote:Originally posted by Barzillia

Sure it is not a Model 81 ?

It could have been rebarreled to 300 savage, I guess, but the Model 8 was never made in that caliber.

The only reason I am making an issue is whether the curved stock is appropriate.
