Hi jafomb11@aol.com here (my email address )
Good morning, I recently had a VERY sentimental gun stolen from me a Colt Trooper Mark? is my problem. I need to know if anyone can help me answer the question, which Colt Trooper Mark? has a vented barrel?
I believe there's only one model. Please email me at my email address above. 18 years ago my new bride, was with me in a gun store and saw that I wanted that gun SO bad, she was flipping burgers and waiting on tables part time for 2.90hr and she put the gun on layaway and over 8 months saved enough to give that gun to me, I'm a gun collector and have quite a few guns, but that one always was my favorite and most charished, so I figure the best Ican do is try to find one exactly like it. Thank you all for your help either way, may are paths cross yet another day.
Best Regards

The only Colt Trooper manufactured as a standard model by Colt with a ventilated rib barrel was the Trooper MK V. These were available in both Blue and Nickel, shiny and electroless matte finish. They came in the 4, 6, and 8 inch barrel lengths. Manufactured from 1982 until 1986. Hope this helps.
