i got a kimber pro carry .45 stainless like new in the box with crimson trace grips factory installed and all the paperwork(for proof of installation)what would this gun be worth if i were to sell? also if kimber goes under like i've heard rumors of, would the value go up or down as they would be more rare but also harder to get serviced thanks for any info. I don't see any reason why you couldn't get $600+. Kind of doubt that Kimber is about to go out of biz--they are doing rather well and their stuff sells. 1911 parts and service are plentiful, so you have a good gun.

We would need an accurate description of the weapons' condition before anybody could say what it may or may not be worth. The Pro Carry (II)?? is one of the more affordable modeled kimbers, I would guess in NRA New or Excellent condition with the grips/documentation $800 maybe $900. The grips alone would retail for $200-250. If they go under I would expect the value of the gun to climb over time but not by much. Just hope they do not go under.

I'd say you did alright on it. If you have the factory grips I'd sure save them too. I agree with Dave, I hope that rumor isn't true. [V] I really like my Kimber 10mm that I recently bought...
