12 guage in excellent cond. Poly-choke added to gun. bought in 1053 for 253.00. I have original instruction folder. Also in a nice leather case bought at the same time. Looking for a value!

    I would'nt want to part with mine for less than $300.00..

    That 300.00 range is what I payed for the gun. No disrespect duckhunter,but when I go to these gun shows they have nothing even close in price if you can a nice older gun.

    the value of a gun is based on its ORIGINAL condition. when you take a hacksaw to a bbl and put a polychoke on it, you cut the value of a gun dramatically. and too, there is no mention of a vent rib. so, if its a remington 58 with a plain bbl and polychoke, 150 is a fare estimate. and in light of the 58's known flaw of cracking receivers, id take 150 and be glad.

    I wasnt sure if the poly choke was a good thing or not. Do they work well?

    yes, they work fine. just as good if not better than screw in chokes. dont have to worry about losing wrenches or chokes while in the field!
