how are sightrom, i like the magnification variables but will they handle a 300 win mag?

    Great Scopes. Check out www.whittakerguns.com he has them cheap. I was in his shop yesterday and he had a 3x9x40 for $119 I believe. I heard that they make the glass for better named scopes.

    Andy,

    I have two but they are S1's. The S2's are clearly(pun intended) better. I just didn't spend the money to get one. I understand they are pretty tough. I have one on my M96 Mauser in 30-06. It seems to kick a little harder than most 30-06 's I've shot. So, I think they should be okay for standing up to recoil. I will qualify that by saying I have only put about 250 rounds through my 30-06 though. -Good luck
