Can anyone give me some real world feedback about this thing? Looking at it from a purely plinker standpoint. I have a hk94 and do not expect this to be comparable, but at the price I don't really see many drawbacks, unless it is a heap. TIA

I have a buddy that has a 9mm storm carbine and it shoots pretty well. The only drawbacks are one it has in my opinion a horrible trigger pull and two the time it takes to switch it over to left hand eject if you have a left handed shooter. He has an EoTech on his and it is a fun plinker. I prefer my RRA AR 9mm carbine although it is almost apples to oranges.

I just bought a 9mm CX4 and took it shooting for the first time yesterday. It was a BLAST! Smooth action, very accurate and I didn't have any issues with the trigger pull. Here's a picture of mine:

I added a 2x42mm Truglo Red Dot scope, forward grip, barrel shroud and Blackhawk single-point sling. This is a GREAT gun for plinking!

The 9mm's come in three configurations to accept either Beretta 92, Cougar or PX4 mags. Mine takes the 92 mags.

You can see the CX4 website at www.cx4storm.com

I've had one since they first came out. I like it so well, I traded my 9mm AR off. I mounted a tubeless multi-reticle red dot on it and use it for 3gun matches. I shoot it more than my UZI.

that is a heck of a statement. I never did care much for the uzi's, but I was looking towards a colt ar in 9, or this beretta.

Decent weapon- I have the .40 version. If you get the .40 be sure to buy the after market 20 round mags from Pro-Mag they work great in that weapon and the Beretta 96 pistol. The mags are interchangeable between both weapons.
