two shot auto shotgun?

Is there any other manufacturer of a 2 shot semi auto shotgun other than browning? I seem to remember a winchester but I'm not sure. It's bugging me because I can't remember.
Any help?

You can always put a plug in to limit the # of shells...

There is a molto expensive Beretta trap gun that just holds two by design, not by plugging a long magazine.

If you mean two in the magazine, I think there are a lot of them. If you mean only one in the magazine and one in the chamber, I don't know.

My Winchester Model 50 only holds two in the magazine. It does, however allow you to either:
---cycle the action to chamber one, then allows access to the magazine so you can load another, making for three shots.
---lock open the action, load two in the magazine, drop one into the open action and release the bolt to load that one into the chamber, again making for three shots.

I also have an old J. C. Higgins Model 66 autoloader (probably made by High Standard) that pretty much works the same as my Winchester Model 50, but is somewhat less convenient. The only way you can in three is to chamber one and, with the action closed, load two into the magazine.

val brownings two browning double automatic 12vette was unique. it is in a class of its own. the gun was designed to be sold in europe where semi autos are laughed at and anyone owning them was mocked. val made a 2 shot so european owners could claim they were sporting the max number of shots a sbs can take. it didnt fly and val turned it on the usa. no one else in usa would waste time making a gun that only shot 2 shots. americans like 3. the double auto was not popular even though carried in the browning lineup for 17 years, 55 to 71.

I think this is what you mean. Neat looking gun. It's a break action auto. http://www.berettausa.com/product/product_competition_guns_main.htm

    Thanks Guys,
I guess I'm having a senior moment. I thought that Winchester made one like the Browning, one in the chamber and one on tap, which was a really lightweight gun.

    model 1911
    model 40
