Winchester 290 .22LR question

I have a winchester 290 .22lr tube fed, and the front forgrip moves
a little and I cant find anyway of tighting it. Any clues?

    I believe they all do that. Really,,I checked mine and it moves a little,,,nambu....

    I just picked up mine for the first time in 5 years,brings back old memories,sacked grocerys and saved up $58.00 for mine at the Goodyear tire store,my first non hand me down new auto,late 60s' I think I was 14...mine wiggles fore and aft a little. very best

    Check it again and see if the entire barrel is moving foreward slightly. The easiest way to do this is to closly watch while you slam the action closed. Or with the bolt open try sliding the barrel in and out. Those alumunum receivers on those series are famous for the barrel threads to wear enough for the entire barrel to move somewhat. Until it gets loose enough so it will not reliably fire don't worry about it. I see a lot of them with this problem.

    I bedded my forearm to make it tight and also the barrel nut my be loose.

    Thanks guys for the input, barrel nut is tight so Ill just live with it. Just wanted to make sure it wont rattle apart on me.[:D]
