any one heard of a mauser-werke DMS model?

i have an authentic nazi training rifle .22 cal single shot. can someone tell me what its worth and where i could find a collector?

    If it's factory original and in very good to excellent condition, it would have substantial value. It would be best if you could post quality photos for our members evaluation. The best place to find a buyer, would be here on the auction side of GunBroker.

    Please post photos, I have one and love it. It belonged to great grand dad. More accurate than my 10-22 at 25yds. Trigger is a little weak but I've killed 100+ rodents with that old sweety.

    It's actually called a DSM (Deutsches Sport Modell) and was used by the Hitler Youth and other organizations. They were also sold in Germany and exported commercially. Unless yours has unit markings, it must be considered a commercial model.

    Would those have been white number/letters in white paint on the stock?

    I "cleaned up" the stock on this rifle when I was a kid.

    I know this may not be worth a ton but the rest of my family are really jelous(sp?) of this rifle.

    It may be that it reminds of summers with grandpap...
