Info on my SKS...

I have a Norinco SKS. it has C8A, VA BH VA on side of receiver. It also has 92 in front of serial number. Just curious as to what all this means. It also has mod SKSS. Is the extra S there because its a shorty??? Thanks for info....

    The letters are the importer. The 92 should be the date it was built.

    This is the information I have about the importers marking.

    Dominion Import Group Ltd
    5051 Euclid Rd
    Virginia Beach VA


    Although the first three letter aren't the same, there still might be a connection? I doubt that there were that many SKS importer/distributors located in Virgina Beach, back in the late 80's early 90's time frame.
