Does anyone own one of these?
Are they made by Kahr?
Do they have steel receivers?
Any opinions?

im no expert, but yes made by kahr with steel rcvr. i THINK you need a permit for the short barrel. great fun at 20 bux a box i prefer my 1927a1 deluxe as the shoulder stock at least allows for accurate target shooting

It's registered by the manufacturer as a pistol, so there's no SBR requirement.

As to configuration, ALL of these Thompsons are TOYS; that is, they have no practical use. I support your right to have any kind of toy you want, so get whatever floats your boat.
