Shooting to the left

I just read the other post and am taking this chart from it to show you. They have it up at my gun range too, I know I have seen it before. I always wondered, because I always shoot to the left, or at least I have been doing that for the last several months. So here is the story, when I shoot with my Beretta 92FS, my groups are small and centered, landing where I am aiming. When I use the Glock 26, the groups are still small, but they are slightly left of where I am aiming. Have been doing that all year, and I just got the gun last year. The sights are not adjustable, so I think it is me. What do they mean too little trigger finger? The trigger on the Glock is a lot different and I am having to practice a lot more with it because of that. Any help? I am right handed and using two hands to shoot.

Glock rear sights ARE adjustable for windage. You just need to have someone with a sight adjustment tool do it.

If you've got a good grouping, just left of center, and with the other gun you have a good grouping on center, I think the issue is sight adjustemnt.

As stated in the post above, you can adjust Glock sights for left and right grouping (windage), and that sounds like what you need.

I will say that the Glock is more "top heavy" making it produce more recoil than the Beretta, so it could be a little recoil anticipation. Practice will solve that.

I have found out you have to shoot Glocks more like a revolver, with "more finger" on the trigger. With a revolver put the first joint of trigger finger on it. "Too little trigger finger" means you have your finger pad on the trigger and are pushing the gun to the left. Try this before adjusting the sights. It took me a while to get used to shooting Glocks, after 1911's and others.

I would ask weather or not you are seeing your muzzle flash? If you are for sure seeing it then I would agree with the above about sight adjustment. If you are not seeing the muzzle flash(try shooting in the evening, but not dark) then you are anticipating recoil which is the most common reason for hiting left, especially slightly low and left. If your not seeing the flash you are closing your eyes just briefly, anticipating recoil, and shooting just a bit off. good luck.
