Mauser HSc .380 slide problem

I recently purchased a Mauser HSc in .380 ACP imported by Interarms and when I shot it the slide went back but wouldn't go forward then the next bullet went in but the slide went back almost all the way but a little bit too far back to fire which it did on the next 2 shots the next one, the slide went forward but the bullet was lodged between the very top of the barrel and the slide; can anyone help me on how I can make it stop jamming so much??? I tried asking the Gustav Jehn company who took over Mauser repairs but they said the easiest way was to change ammunition brands even though I'm using Winchester.

I cleaned it and oiled it plenty and it worked perfectly with the first magazine full of bullets but the next time it jammed on the first 4 shots; I pack the bullets everytime so I don't know what is going on.

Besides changing the ammo, ( buy a box of as many different brands of fmj ammo as you can ). Check the magazine lips and extractor for wear and function. Be sure the magazine is correct for the pistol. It's possible a aftermarket magazine, or bad extractor would cause the problems, you describe.

Well I'm using flat nose full metal jacketed (FMJ) bullets from Winchester, and figured it might be that I need to use round nose ones. Though I'm not sure if the magazines are correct or not, but one as light wear (not enough to mess the gun up) but the other a little more so (enough to mess up the loading of the round into the chamber); the extractor does have some wear which I don't think its enough to cause any problems. They all function fine; the magazines are correct and made by Mauser. The top of the barrel does have some scratches on it however if that helps.

Any more suggestions would be appreciated.
