Trying to find

Howdy all

I have seen this shotgun and I am trying to find one and or who made it, etc.

Basic decription that I have from holding it is.

It was 12ga, side x side, nothing fancy about it. Shotgun was fairly old. i would guess 1920'2 or so, 26 to 28" bbl, it had external hammers, double triggers.

The one thing that was most intresting was the way you broke open the breach.

If you were shooting this right handed, in order to break it open, there was a round push button on a small level just off to the right side of the stock.
in stead of using your thumb to push the normal break open bar in the middle, you pressed the button level on the right down slightly and the breach would break open.

I would appreciate and info that someone might have on this type of shotgun

Thank

SixPak

I did post this request in three different forums hoping he would read atleast one of them. I'm not trying to spam, I'm trying to find this person for a customer. This is a very difficult site to use and get people together. Al

Many, many years ago I had a single shot 12 ga that had a lever on the right hand side that you pushed down to open the breech. I also had a single shot 12 ga that had a button, the button was kind of rounded up with circles, each circle was smaller in diameter and a little bit higher than the one outside of it. Both were exposed hammer.

As I remember, one of them was a Riverside (Monkey Wards House brand ??) and the other one was a Stevens and I can't remember which was which or if that was really true. That was upwards of 30 years ago and that half-timers disease may be setting in so I won't guarantee that info.

    Wish I could help more

I don't think Sixpack has access to the shotgun and mine have been gone and the money spent for at least 35 years.
