Which Gun for Sporting Clays

I have narrowed it down to the Benelli Super Sport (with the carbon fiber stock), Citori, and the Cynergy. Just curious as to which of these guns you prefer for sporting clays and just an all around good hunting gun?

I don't suppose you could go wrong with any of the three, But my choice would be the Citori with 30" barrels. The extra barrel weight would be an advantage in swinging and follow through for right and left crossing birds.I have both a Benelli and the Citori and I prefer the Cotori for sporting clays.Just my opinion.

I shot a 400 bird tournament this last weekend. I was the only double gun in my group. Everyone else had Benellis (1 supersport and 2 SBE II and a Cordoba). My SxS and the Supersport were the only ones that went all weekend without failures. The others had several. I would definetly take the Citori, they go bang everytime!

I currently have a camo 24" SBE II. I shot a shoot this past weekend in Tunica, MS and shot a 81/100. But I had 6 malfunctions with the SBE II costing me points and it really sickened me. I cant justify owning a $1600 turkey gun

You might also want to look at the Winchester Select Energy. They are made in Belgium, at the same place the Brownings are...FN. I have the Trap gun with the adjustable comb, and it is FACTORY ported and backbored. It shoots like a 22 almost. I have never had it not go bang.

Is there an advantage to the O/U for sporting clays? It seems to be the popular choice on the couses I go to. I just dont see paying 2300 when I can have the Benelli for 1800

I have a Citori 425 backbored and ported. It has 30 inch barrels and I doubt if you can find a better Sporting Clays gun for the money. Used,in 98% condition, it was $995 with a leather hard case about 2 years ago.
