Any reccommendations on what to use that would put a sheen on gun blue?

Try anhydrous lanolin. Wonderful stuff. Shines and protects against fingerprints and corrosion for a long time. The Renaissance Wax idea sounds good, too.
NO! NO! He Dog! Ricardo Montalban would call eet "Cor-een'-thee-an La'-ther". I wonder how many Chrysler Cordobas he sold with that line?[:D]
Now all we need is Recardo Mantalban to say "carnuba."
I made shadow-boxes for some older, not operational, S&W revolvers ...gave one to each boy in my family. They were super clean and dry and I rubbed them down with the wax, and buffed them off.
It has been 7 years...2 inspections....no visible problems.
A gunsmith in the area markets some wax that is 50/50 carnuba/bee's wax. You have to warm it with friction from the rag to apply it, and you have to go "King Kong" to buff it off. For me, it has not proven to be better than 10% carnuba wax products.
