Renaissance wax...

Anybody ever use this?
I'd heard some good things about it on some other sites and just found (and bought) a jar of this stuff to try on a few of my guns. According to the label it is good on wood and metal surfaces. I'm assuming it's safe for blued guns, but I'm wondering about nickel plated guns. I just inherited a S&W hand-ejector and really want to preserve the nickel on it, and obviously don't want to screw it up.
Anybody with experience using this product?

Thanks!
Mike

I use this wax and think it is great for short and long term storage also good protection if you have a gun on your table at a gun show you never know what people have on their hands when they pick up your gun like salted peanuts[:(]
