possibly the slide stop/safety plunger tube spring weak, slide stop worn at "pin" plunger end, plunger tube filled with dirt, dried lubricants, etc. I had this same problem on an old 1911, I replaced plunger tube spring and pins, works fine now. I know other things can cause this to happen, but they just don't come to mind right now.

Tank 78Z has given you GOOD advice. Also your thumb may be moving the slide stop pin during recoil . I use a slight thumb rest grip for that reason I have long fingers and thumb.
