Ruger .44 carbine info.

1. Where can I find procedure for stripping and assembly of the trigger gaurd assembly? I have tried several manual vendors, and none have this information in the manuals.


2. The lip on my trigger Gaurd housing is broken off. Can this be built up by welding, or non ferrous metal brazing? It appears to be cast aluminum.

If you are talking about the older Ruger 44 carbine, I believe the trigger guard is a weak point for the rifle. You may want to do a search of older posts on that subject.
