Is Colt still making Pythons?
Why are they priced so high?

    Colt hasn't made them since 1996. Even when they could be found in your LGS, few bought them because of their high price relative to similar guns. The price reflects hand fitting & polishing by experts.

    Pythons are now like lobsters
    protected from their greatest natural enemy by their high price.
