My father passed on to me a nice High Standard H-D military.
It has franzite grips.
I have been looking for a set of factory correct grips for over 2 years now.
Any suggestions out there as to where I might find a set?
Thank you.

Here is a photo from GPC's web site showing what they look like. I doubt very seriously they have any in stock.

Very good shooting pistol. Be sure you understand the breakdown procedure.

Mine do not look like those above. The second set down look correct.
does fleabay sell factory grips.
if i cannot find a factory original set then there is no reason to change what is on the gun now.
EDIT:
thank you very much rufe-snow.
mike wiskey...thanks for the picture.yes they are the type i have been trying to find.
although my book does indicate the earliest HD-militarys came with plastic grips.
i dont believe mine is an early model.
i think its DOM is 1949.
my book has this model starting in 45.
can anyone definitively clear this matter up?

Fleabay is the largest net auction site. Because of this, you are more likely to find original H-D military grips there. Seems folks are always digging stuff up, from their attics and cellars. It's been years since I was last on. But you could set up a list of things you were interested in. So that when you signed on, they would be brought up automatically.
The long frame lever letter "G" series pistols used a grip with the same mounting pattern but the grips will have a notch cut out for the safety which does not appear on the Model H-D Military. They will look a bit odd but they will fit.
The Models H-A, H-D, or H-E had no safety so the grips will fit and will look better on your pistol,
