I own a 1883 or some similar model Marlin. It is a 32.40 caliber Octagonal barrel bearing NO MODEL number but with the serial number starting out
207+++. I am attempting to determine an approximate value for it, but without the model number, I am not sure where to start.

edit If you look at post on ask the expert forum the top 10 or so ABOVE YOUR THIS post has FAQ "STICKY" this will be questions that are asked over and over .Bert H has one labeled HOW TO POST PICTURES. you must use a HOSTING SITE like photobucket you can not put pictures as an attachment
Dolt that I am, which sticky? To attach an image you have to {url} etc?

The owners of this site won't allow photos to be posted from a computers hard drive. You will have to use a net photo hosting site, as outlined in the above instructions.
