scouting for extra mags for my Sig 220

Sig manufactured mags are rather expensive although probably the best.

Which aftermarket mags for Sig 220 have users here had good function with?

+1 on MecGar. They make mags for many of the factories, including some Sigs, I think. I've never had good luck with Triple-K.

Mec-Gar produced SIG's OEM magazines for many years but the bean counting new CEO they have decided to switch to a less expensive, "it'll do" quality product from Checkmate.

He's the same guy whose management ideas took Kimber from one of the highest quality regular production 1911's you could buy to just another clone.

I recommend Mec-Gar magazines over SIG's current factory item. They're the best you can get.

i didn't know that about SIG and its current CEO.

a few years back i tried Kimber and Wilson-Combat 1911 mags for my custom .45. didn't have any issues back then, but that's been awhile.

i went to Mec-Gar website, i didn't see any .45/p220 mags for Sig. saw 9mm and .40. i'll email their sales dept and ask about it.

appreciate finding out about Mec-Gar. thx

YOU MUST SPECIFICALLY state that the magazine is a gift. Offers to buy, sell or trade are prohibited in this or any GB forum.

An offer to put an item ovr on the auction board for someone who wants it is also okay.
