I just checked the completed auctions on GunBroker. There are two pages with listings for the Beretta Stampede. Probably this would be the best way to get a handle on the current Fair Market Value.

I would disregard the holster and ammo at the LGS. And just concentrate on comparing value(s). To similar gun(s), actually sold on the auction.

Be Aware That what LOOKS like what is Case Color is really Paint and some solvents will remove it[V]

Too high. It's just a rebranded Uberti as Beretta owns them. You could buy a brand new Uberti like the one in this auction http://www.GunBroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=379923656 cheaper even with the shipping and transfer fee. Unless the holster is some fancy rig from say El Paso Saddlery or Galco I wouldn't take it into much consideration.

    I have a 7 1/2 Uberti-Navy Arms I'd sell a hell of a lot less than that [^]

Not on mine. I grooved a new Nicholson file trying to deburr a snag on an Uberti frame, and I couldn't break into the sight notches with files on others. I finally resorted to using Dremels to break through the case on Uberti's, which I have found to be usually .010 to .015 deep (sometimes more).

Case colors can be removed with several different kinds of solvents, including some gun-cleaning cloths which are pre-impregnated with some nasty stuff, and they will take the case colors off Colt's, Uberti's and other carburized gun frames, leaving a bland grey or white color. Normal wear will do the same thing, and many old Winchesters and Marlins are white-receivered, but with still-present bluing. But none of the above affects the hardening.

I,ve got a Berretta Stampede Deluxe. Beautiful gun, but I,ve had nothing byt problems with. Sent it back to Berrette when was new & they kind of fixed it but not really. Had a problem again with it & took it to local gunsmith without much satisfaction. It works but ain't right. The wife has 2 Uberti's & they aren't the same gun. The uberti has the firing pin on the hammer & the Berretta has a transfer bar that is troublesome. If you want one with the transfer bar system get a Ruger. They are berret built in that area.
