Yes I have a 1909 straight bolt German Mauser. It's a long rifle and in very good condition. Has all the German markings for that Ara on it. Was wondering if anyone could estimate what it might be wroth. Any help I would be very grateful for. Thanks

I own a yugo 47/24 8mm & having a lot of trouble with parts etc..
Can some one set me straight on the action size , the trigger guard on this make is 7 3/4 not 7 7/8 or give a book that will help me!
Thanx, Hoss[B)]
I slugged the barrel and the .308 slug barely seems to catch the rifling, could this be because someone only rechambered it?
Should I have it rebarreled?
what kind of price would I expect to pay for one in good condition?any other suggestion's in the same prce range? The game Im intrested in is deer, and elk.

Your rifle is 104 years old. If it was a factory original G 98, or even one of the rarer variations made than. It would be worth really big bucks.
Unfortunately Germany has been involved in two world wars and the communist division of Germany since than. Along with all kinds of other unpleasant things. Not likely it's original. That's why we have to see quality photos.
EDIT #1
This is a photo of a export version of the G 98, that I found on the net. It would be very similar to what a arsenal original German G 98 would look like. If there any still in existence.
Caliber and all markings are important. Matching #, accessories like cleaning rod, sling, bayonet add value. Extra holes for scope mounts or peep sights reduce value.
Check the side rail for stamps and the receiver for crests. Is there cleaning rod? Matching numbers? Bore condition? Caliber? Cartouches on the stock? These are just some of the questions we need to know; Mausers were made for dozens of countries in tens of calibers for 100 years...

What Jonk said is correct.
There are WAY too many variables here for anyone to give you a reliable estimate just based on the little information you've provided.
The only way you'll be able to get a good estimate is for you to take some high quality pictures of the gun under good lighting and post them here.
Try to get closeups of any/all markings on the gun, including stamps, serial numbers, etc.
