    For the range I like the muffs with a radio built in
    next would be the high dollar auto that you can still hear people talking but kicks in with a gun shot

    Having worked on jets for over 20yrs; I wear 33db plugs under my 26db muffs.
    That ringing I hear is not the phone, it's 20yrs of noise. BE SAFE
