What is the best thing I can do for this gun, I was thinking of getting the trigger and action springs reworked. what else do I need to look at? Thanks

"Best thing" is open for interpretation.

Here's 'my' best thing. Reworked/tuned trigger & action,
rebarreled, Red Dot Scope and decent grips. The only
thing I may do is replace the scope mounts with quick
detach but that's it! She even goes 'to sea,' occasionally -
    flawless so far!

    It works well for me.

After having the trigger and all internals honed, polished, and jeweled, and with a spring kit installed, my Super Redhawk .44 Mag has a 2 lb. single-action pull. I used it for several years in IHMSA competition, and with my pet loads, it will shoot sub 5-inch 5-shot groups at 200 meters (220 yards) when I do my part.

Bert ... mind if I ask you what target load you use? Store bought?

Had the same work done on mine then had it ported. Porting is questionable. Put a trigger shoe on it and it seemed to help me greatly. Off hand at 50 yds. 4"-5"pattern. Bench 2" on my better days. Lots of fun . . . . .
