Coltmaster Jr scope

Hello,

I have an old Coltmaster Jr 4X riflescope I am thinking about selling but have no idea if it is worth anything. It is similar to old Weaver scopes from the 50's I have seen in that it has a brass objective lense lock (?) and finish. Is there a better place to put this up for sale than e-bay and any idea how scarce this is? I have shown it at a few gun stores and have yet to find anyone that is familiar with this scope.

Thanks,

Ken

The 4x Coltmaster Jr. was built between 1959 and 1973. The value is about $20-$40 depending upon condition. Unfortunately, older does not mean valuable, and there has been little collector interest in this scope to push the price up. Just hang on to it, maybe put it on an older rile.

I have one, also. It came on my Colt I-22 mag (yes, I said MAG)that I bought new in 1959 and still have ! Many whistlepigs met their maker, thanks to that scope ! It was a $10 option at the time.

Doc, I still have it(and the rifle also), but I'm not interested in selling either. Thanks anyway.
