Does anyone have any insight on this rifle? It is 56" long with a 41 and 1/2" octagon barrel. The lock says "J. Holland." It has a metal ramrod and has a small inlay near the rear tang that says ??B 1829. The stock is made of maple. The trigger guard is made of brass. It appears as if this rifle was converted from flintlock to percussion. The front barrel band is a replacement. I can see no other markings on the rifle. I find the shape of the butt stock intriguing.
