MARLIN HAD A HOLE SLEW OF DIFFERENT NUMBERD MODEL SHOTGUNS THAT WERE BASICLY THE SAME TRY 'MODEL 19' ON A SERCH (NONE OF THEM ARE SAFE TO SHOOT BTW).

http://www.precisiongunstocks.com has the pistol grip stock for your rifle it may be very hard to find one in good used conditon. I purchased two forearms on e-bay and have seen them on GunBroker, the arms are hard to find in any kind of condition most are broken or cracked. Make sure the shotgun is checked out by a gunsmith before you shoot it! The gun does not take standard shotgun shells and any you use should be lite loaded!

    Good, luck

the gun will not be shot, I remember seeing it a few years ago when his father passed away, the forearm is missing at least 2/3 rds of the wood and the stock is cracked and broken, the action is very sloppy, he doesn't want to spend more than 40-50 bucks, so I was hoping to find wood for say a 870 or such that may be close to working with a little carving and sanding just want it to look good enough to hang on wall.

Even though these shotguns are not very hot items, the stocks and forearm are expencive and hard to find. I would look around the gun shows and see if you can spot one that you can steal another good place is hock shops. A solid used stock will cost more than the Precision. Take your time you will run across one!
