I am calling upon all the great wisdom and knowledge of the experts on here to ask if the main 4 manufactures (REM, WIN, SAV, RUGER) would be good candidates for shooting under 3/4'' @ 100yds. I am hooked on the new accu-trigger that is on my 30-06 (110 SAV) Is there any that are easier to take down than others? Thanks for all youre great help.

The two best would be the Winchester 52C or D and the Remington 40X, but you will not find any of those new and the old ones are getting very pricy. I have been very happy with the new Savage's, they are very accurate and I just love the accutrigger.

    Try this one:

Or if you don't want a single shot:

Just remember, if you are shooting a 22lr at 100 yards you will find much better accuracy with subsonic ammo. Wolf Match Extra is a great one to work with.

Savage makes excellent rifles, centerfire and rimfire, but I think you should also consider the various CZ 452/453 bolt action rimfire rifles. They have excellent triggers, all wood & steel and a reputation for excellent accuracy. I have 1/2 dozen or so of their rim & centerfire rifles, very happy with them..

Thre are a number of NEW and VERY PRICY 22 RF that shoot very well- but you may want to look over some of the OLDER, USED Mossberg rifles, such as the 44US. Just don't bid on the ones you see my name on, OK? [:p]

im a big fan of ruger and savage but IMHO most likely they will not shoot 3/4 @ 100yds. its the reason i suggest to you the remington 40x, winchester 52, or anshutz. all three of these will take care of business @ 100yds. best!

My Savage 93fv (blue, heavy barrel, syn stock) in 22wmr does 1"-1.25" at 100 yards with my poor skills, poorer rest, and very cheap scope. Has the accutrigger, but I've not changed the settings.... I'm sure that if you spend more than the $25 I did on a scope you could meet your goal.

Also, if you stay with rimfire, I've seen the same model rifle as mine in 17hmr do 1/2" at 100 yards...

If you would like another option,..look at the Kimber of Oregon model 82 22lr,..quality you can see and feel before you even fire it,.take a look at a few on the auction side..pricey,but worth every penny, accurate, quick handling, mauser type extractor, nice walnut stocks..just a suggestion..but they are a good investment also..Loko

As others have said shooting 3/4 inch at 100 yards with any rifle will be tough. To many variables. What exactly are to shooting target, varmint? Are you going to carry around? I like the new Remington and the CZ...for the price the CZ is tough to beat.
